Hello and welcome to SPICERIA!
After about 11 months of travelling through Asia and some parts of Australia, I came home with so many new ideas, experiences and recipes to try out - I thought it best to start this page to process this wonderful time we've had and to share it with you through my recipes!
We ate mostly at street stalls or small family restaurants. It often takes a long time to prepare the food but it is always worth the wait because this means, it's fresh food!!
So with my recipes, I would like to encourage you to enjoy and savour fresh food and to cook simple and healthy food at home. Take the time, it's worth it!
I'm curious about many things and I especially love to try out new recipes and it makes me happy to taste all these beautiful new flavours and it makes eating so much more fun!
I try to keep my recipes all simple and easy. Since my travels through Asia I often cook with spices and love to try out all these different tastes and to be transferred back to Asia for at least a little while.
So many of my recipes will be with spices and that's where the name SPICERIA is coming from :)
I hope you will get inspired through SPICERIA to try out new things, fresh food and have a lot of fun cooking!
